Kristie Peters Arlington
MS, MHP, CMHS, LMHC
Kristie Peters received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Portland State University and a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Washington University.
She has specialized training and experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families on such issues such as complex trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, attachment, depression, Bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.
Having worked in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, residential, in-home therapy as well as program management, she has a wide knowledge base to draw from in her practice. Kristie also has specialized training working with autistic clients.
Kristie is interested in helping clients reach their full potential through increasing self-awareness and connecting with others in a genuine manner. Some of the models she has been trained in include trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, experiential modalities, and intensive behavioral intervention.
Kristie is also a trained psychometrist conducting neuropsychological assessments. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and hiking.
